Olympic bronze medallist Harnois banned
PARIS: The French taekwondo federation said Friday it has handed a two-year ban to Marlene Harnois, bronze medallist at the London Olympics. The move came after a claim by Harnois that she had suffered harassment from a national coach, she and the federation informed AFP. Harnois, who says she will appeal the ban, claimed at the end of May that she had suffered years of verbal harassment from coach Myriam Baverel, and additionally spoke out against federation technical director Philippe Bouedo.
